| Kevin Sullivan Joins 'The Hair Club For Men'!Having
the opportunity to go on the road with wrestling legends such as Kevin
Sullivan, Mark Lewin, Angelo Mosca and others was a great experience
for me. Unfortunately for me, as the youngster in the car, I was
the most frequent victim of wrestling ribs. On this occasion I had the good fortune to be on the other side, and I dealt a really good rib to Kevin Sullivan, in front of all the boys. One
night after the matches in Tampa I was at home relaxing and watching
TV, trying to come down from the adrenaline rush of a wild night of pro
wrestling at the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory. During one of the television programs I was watching, a commercial for "Hair Club For Men" came on, and suddenly I had a devious idea! I called the toll-free number and requested the free information packet. "What's your name?" they asked. "Kevin Sullivan," I replied. "And
the address to send the information?" they asked. "106 North Albany, Tampa, Florida," I replied. The address of the Tampa Sportatorium where the wrestling office was located, where we shot TV, and where the wrestlers received their fan mail. I
forgot about it and went to sleep. About a week later, on a
Wednesday, we were at the Sportatorium shooting TV and all the boys
were
there. Right around noon, the mailman came. And he had a big
manila envelope addressed to "Kevin Sullivan"; no return address. An excited and curious Kevin Sullivan opened the parcel in front of all the boys. Imagine his surprise when it was a package
from "Hair Club For Men"! Kevin, already sensitive about his
height and thinning hair, reacted beautifully. It could have been
a wrestling match, he sold the rib so well. Sullivan threw the package up in the air and looked around for who the culprit might be. I don't know how he figured out it was me, but within seconds he was chasing me through the showers. I ran out the dressing room door into the crowd, knowing that he couldn't follow me! I had
escaped the wrath of Kevin Sullivan, but only temporarily: Eventually, I knew my receipt was coming!
