A chip off the old blockAttorney R. Bruce Tharpe is a "chip off the old block." His father (left) was longtime Hillsborough County, Florida, Fire Chief Chet Tharpe (deceased). The elder Tharpe spent close to 50 years as an active firefighter before his retirement. This is an action shot of Chief Tharpe as he gave orders to his men in the midst of fighting a fire. |
